Museum of Rural Life "Casina Pia"

The 'Casina Pia' museum is housed in a building presumably built around the end of the 18th century. The structure is located in the centre of the Riccio Francesco farm, between the municipalities of Canolo and Gerace. It is a country house with an adjoining oil mill, built on the rock in the middle of the valley of Prestarona, a term of Greek origin meaning a shelter for doves.
